Genesys Membrane Cleaners

Genesol 30 is a fast acting, broad-spectrum biocide used for cleaning Reverse Osmosis and Nano- Filtration membranes.It can be used both on and off-line to eliminate microbiological fouling. When used in potable water applications, Genesol 30 should be used ‘off-line’.

Genesol 30 is also effective in removing biofilm from pumps, tanks and pipe-work. Best results are obtained when Genesol 30 is used at a pH 5.5 – 7.0. Residual Genesol 30 can be deactivated to harmless byproducts by using sodium bisulphite. Genesol 30 is readily biodegraded in the environment; the degradation rate is enhanced at increasing pH and temperature.

Genesol 32 is a broadspectrum biocide for use in cleaning Reverse Osmosis and Nano-Filtration systems. It can be used both on and off-line to eliminate microbiological fouling but when used in potable water applications, Genesol 32 should be used ‘off-line’.

Genesol 32 can be used in pre-treatment systems for the prevention of biofouling in pumps, tanks and pipe-work. It is deactivated to harmless by-products by using sodium bisulphite.

Genesol 34 is a blended chelating agent and non-ionic surfactant and has been developed as an alkaline general purpose cleaner for membrane systems.

Genesol 34 will help to remove organic and inorganic based deposits and is effective against iron fouling. Genesol 34 is classified as ‘readily biodegradable’ and is an excellent adjunct when used in combination with other Genesol membrane cleaners.

Genesol 36 is a general purpose cleaner for the removal of organic foulants found on Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration membrane surfaces.

The low dose rate of Genesol 36 ensures cost effective use and it is an excellent adjunct when used in combination with other Genesol membrane cleaners.

Genesol 37 has been developed as a general-purpose cleaner for inorganic scale and iron deposits found in most types of membrane system. It is also effective against certain ‘difficult to clean’ organic deposits.

Genesol 38 has been developed as an inorganic scale cleaner and iron deposit remover for use in Reverse Osmosis and Nano-filtration membrane systems.

Used at the right concentration, its self adjusting pH ensures highest solubility of iron salts is achieved.

Genesol 40 has been developed as a general-purpose membrane cleaner effective against organic based foulants typically found in Reverse Osmosis and Nano-filtration membrane systems.

Genesol 40 has been approved for use in drinking water applications.

Genesol 50 is based on a chelating agent and has been developed as a general-purpose membrane alkaline cleaner for use with Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration membranes.

Genesol 50 will remove organic and inorganic based deposits. It is effective against iron fouling and many forms of calcium scale and is an excellent adjunct when used in combination with other Genesol membrane cleaners.

Genesol 702 has been developed as an inorganic scale cleaner and iron deposit remover for use in Reverse Osmosis and Nano-filtration membrane systems.

Genesol 702 will allow membrane cleaners to produce foam and work effectively without water softening.

Genesol 703 has been developed as a general-purpose membrane cleaner for an extensive range of organic based foulants found in Reverse Osmosis and Nano-filtration membrane systems.

Genesol 703 is particularly effective against aluminium silicate, which can be difficult to remove with conventional cleaners.
