Constructed of thermally-bonded polypropylene fibre media, nominally-rated filters are specifically designed to economically remove sediment from liquid streams.
The filters are manufactured from 100% virgin polypropylene with no added binders, resins or adhesives.
The filters utilise a proven multi-layer construction to ensure true depth filtration, this manufacturing process produces a product with greatly increased dirt holding capacity, increased collapse strength and excellent filtration efficiency.
Melt Blown Polypropylene Filter Cartridges are supplied double open ended (D.O.E. ‘crush fit’) as standard. Thermally welded end caps are optional.
Economy pleated cartridges are manufactured using durable, washable and re‐useable polypropylene media.
The filters have a large filtration area which gives great dirt holding capacity extending the time between filter changes.
The media is pleated around a polypropylene core for added strength and the ends are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol.
Embedding and sealing at each end of the pleat in this fashion fuses the three components together forming a unified end cap and gasket.
Our range of precision wound filter cartridges are suitable for many filtration applications, the combination of filter media and centre core materials available means that they are particularly suitable for high temperature and aggressive solvent applications.
